After months of research and soliciting extensive input from residents, businesses and organizations, Clovis, New Mexico is proud to reveal a new Clovis community brand. The essence of the brand is the welcoming nature of the Clovis family, while creating connections that inspire growth with unlimited opportunities. A new Clovis community brand logo draws inspiration from the community’s rich railroad and architectural history and was designed by New Mexico graphic firm Leighton Moon. The brand mindset is embodied in the brandline: “heartfelt connections. endless horizons.”
“Creating a Clovis community brand will both foster community pride and establish Clovis as a desirable place to work, live, and play,” commented Mayor Mike Morris. “We look forward to how these branding activities will create positive perceptions of our community, aid in our economic development efforts, and further beautify Clovis.”
A brand launch celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 3 p.m. at the Business Enterprise Center (105 E Grand Ave). Residents of the local community are welcome to join the festivities. The Clovis/County Chamber of Commerce and Clovis Economic Development (CIDC) have been working with the Once a Day Marketing branding team to develop a positioning that incapsulates what Clovis stands for now, and how the destination wants to be perceived in the future.
“Clovis welcomes all newcomers and visitors with open arms,” said Ernie Kos, Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. “We are a diverse community of friendly and inclusive people who are always willing to go the extra mile, and our new tagline really reflects that.”
Building on the excitement and momentum of the “heartfelt connections. endless horizons.” launch, the community will continue working together to ensure residents and local businesses understand the mindset of the brand and strive to welcome all into the Clovis family.
