CLOVIS MAN CHARGED WITH HARBORING INMATE ESCAPEES SENTENCED

CLOVIS (KSMX) – The man who was found guilty for harboring the three inmate escapees last June, was sentenced for his role today. Jon Hausmann, 38, of Clovis, was sentenced to five and one-half years in the New Mexico Department of Corrections, which includes a four-year enhancement under the habitual offender statue. On June 15th, 2018, the three men, Aaron Clark, Ricky Sena, and Victor Apodaca, escaped the Curry County Detention Center. Four days later, law enforcement received a tip that the three were at the residence on the west side of Clovis. After a three-hour standoff, the three were taken into custody and Hausmann was charged with Harboring or Aiding a Felon.
